2016 Trimble Dimensions: Post Conference Wrap-Up

Anna Frosch - Wednesday, November 23, 2016

Members of JLL’s Manhattan and CenterStone Practice recently ventured to Las Vegas to attend the 2016 Trimble Dimensions User Conference, held November 7 - 9 at the Venetian Hotel and Casino. Along with sponsoring and exhibiting at the Conference, JLL’s Manhattan Team also hosted a Client Dinner, held at db Brasserie, where they enjoyed networking and visting with clients.

2016 marked an exciting milestone as the first year since Trimble acquired Manhattan that the Manhattan IWMS and CenterStone CAFM divisions participated in the larger Dimensions conference. In the past two years, these divisions hosted a smaller Users Conference in Fort Worth.

“This was the first time where the Manhattan IWMS conference was merged with the larger Trimble-wide conference. To see and hear how Trimble is focusing on integrating the complete life-cycle (design, construct and operate) was an eye-opening experience,” said Jeff Peters Senior Vice President and Managing Director of JLL TS’s Manhattan Practice. “They are making great strides in getting historically siloed organizations and processes to start thinking about making upstream and downstream connections to improve overall efficiencies.”

Over the course of the conference, our team attended an array of breakout sessions including the Manhattan and Centerstone product update sessions, as well as “Leveraging Sensors for Space Utilization” that sparked quite a bit of discussion over the future of sensor utilization in the industry. They also attended “Maximizing Value to the Enterprise through deployment of Manhattan Software,” which provided an overview of the great value an IWMS platform can provide a client.

Dimensions brought more than 4,000 attendees from 80+ countries together for 625 sessions across 24 industry segments, offering registrants and sponsors an opportunity to rub elbows with some of the industry’s leading experts. Our team appreciated the opportunity to meet so many new faces and connect with old friends from Trimble and their Manhattan Team. We are looking forward to attending the Manhattan and CenterStone-focused conference in 2017.
