Syclo's Agentry Mobile Platform is used to integrate with backend systems and databases you use to run your business. This is done using productized connectors (based on SQL, Java or XML), direct database connectivity (with protocols like ODBC) or with your existing integration tools.
When you log in to your mobile application on iPhone or iPad, Agentry automatically signs on to one or multiple systems you need to perform your work. You can even use tools like Active Directory to manage passwords and user permissions.

Agentry Mobile Platform Server

Data from your backend systems is passed through the Agentry Server. No information is ever replicated, so the most current data is always either in your backend application or on your Apple device.
The Agentry Mobile Platform manages all communications, error handling, security, logging and reporting, user management and other components necessary for your solution to function.

Secure communications

Syclo gives you tight control over network connections and communication settings. For example, you can decide when the device should communicate with the Agentry server, whether it should use a Wi-Fi or a 3G network and even what data should be sent over what network.
All transmissions to and from your iPhones and iPads are encrypted using 128-bit encryption, SSL and TLS, so no information can ever be intercepted or compromised.

Applications residing on your iPhones and iPads are built using the latest Apple mobile application development tools. This ensures that they use all the native device controls and APIs, function flawlessly and give you the great user experience you've come to expect from these platforms.
